If you have a 4.0 GPA, can you get a full tuition merit scholarship to do a masters entirely online? Which colleges would offer this?

I've seen partial but not full unless you are obtaining your masters in certain STEM areas. What degree are you wanting to pursue. That might help narrow it down although I think the options might already be quite narrow.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

I'm not exactly sure yet. I want to pursue the online adjunct instructor field. I am not mathematically inclined so I would consider possibly English, History, or Education. What fields seem to have the most open job positions?

Full tuition scholarships that I've found for anything beyond undergraduate have all been at the doctoral level, and all face to face. I'm not an expert in that area, but I've been doing a ton of research on this all year. I have a new book coming out called Completely FREE Colleges that is undergrad only- but I've just not found anything for masters level.
My suggestion is to use employer reimbursement. This is offered by almost every large company.

Graduate and Undergraduate education are two totally different markets. Remember that scholarships are not just for the personal good of the student, they are for the public good of the school. Schools need good students to improve their offerings as much as they need good teachers. Graduate school focus on zero cost degrees through work over scholarships since graduates have more to offer in trade than an undergraduate. High potential applicants or students can often find teaching or researching positions with generous stipends, low cost housing, and other perks that allow them to make a living while attending school without a job outside of the school. This doesn't translate well to online programs. Online programs are marketing tools to attract additional students (and their revenue) to the school. This is why admission requirements are almost always lower for the online programs than the in person programs at the same school. An online student isn't going to contribute much to the school either, so there is almost zero incentive for the school to subsidize the cost. If you are looking to reduce your cost, focus on employer reimbursement as cookderosa suggested or look for local programs and their opportunities.

I agree with what @cookderosa stated, most of the scholarships that I have seen have been for undergraduate and doctoral students. While their are some scholarships for masters degree out their they seem to be a rarity from what i've seen. Since you would like to do an online program, I would advise you to enroll in a brick and mortar with a online program, that awards scholarships to on-campus students. You could use the scholarship money to pay for your classes online. Online classes at brick and mortars are generally considered the same as on-campus courses. I used a scholarship to pay for a bunch of online courses during undergraduate.

I seriously have searched somewhere in the neighborhood of 4000 colleges and I've found exactly zero online master's scholarships -Meaning they're not being offered by the school, not that they don't exist. I have heard of companies, industries, and service organizations that offer scholarships to be administered through the college, so I'm assuming those are what you're finding? Even if you found a few, I'd love to know.

Looking for scholarships for online students is looking in the wrong place. Some colleges don't see their online students any differently. One of my classmates in my master's program received a Carr scholarship, which was probably a couple of thousand dollars and qualified him for in-state tuition.

Carr is a good one- $2000- to $3000 I think. |
