Excelsior College Online Course Format?

I am going to take some online Excelsior College technology courses and wanted some info from anyone who has taken them in the past.

How flexible is the scheduling?

Do you need to be online on a certain day or time to interact with the class?

How often is there a deadline for assignment?

How many tests?

I am person that does well with independent reading and studying and was wondering if I can just do the assignments and tests and still pass.
