TESC prefer Eng comp w/ or w/o essay?

I'm going to be taking the English composition CLEP soon and was wondering if TESC prefers the version with the essay, or the version without the essay?

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

TESC only accepts the version with essay for credit. TESC also accepts the Freshman college comp w/ essay for credit. If you want to take English com w essay you might want to hurry since the exam will go away july 1 and it will be replaced by a harder exam college comp and college comp modular

Thanks Jeremy. I just learned that I need the Freshman college composition. From what you've said, I'll need to take the essay version of it.

Ouch! Not a single one of the test locations near me had a test date in June. Guess I'll have to start preparing for the new test.
