  Money and Banking Computerized version
Posted by: adamdriggers - 11-29-2006, 07:48 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - No Replies

Has anyone taken the COMPUTERIZED Money and Banking DSST test (NOT the paper version)?

This test has been a thorn in the side for many and my brother and I failed it last August. We are up for redemption this February.

I know the computerized tests are different from the old paper ones.

Any advice? Muchas gracias!:o

  DSST Update
Posted by: adamdriggers - 11-29-2006, 07:45 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (6)

As you are probably aware, all DSST tests went computerized Oct. 2, 2006.

I just found out that now, instead of no time limit, they all have a two-hour time limit.

But not to fear, I took Business Math (paper version with like 70-80 questions) adn my friend took the computerized version of Business Math adn had only 50-60 questions.

Just a friendly heads up. Cool

  Scam...I say ..so watch out
Posted by: RBOWMAN - 11-28-2006, 09:25 AM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (3)

I believe that college cram .com is a scam!!! I have registered ..giving them my email address and info and then tried to get online using the user id and password: it NEVER works!!! Now i get lots of junk info off my registration data, but I sure don't recieve any other their little "Cramlets". So, my current feeling is I've been scammed and they can get "cramletted". Has anyone used this site successfully?

Crammed and scammed??? Ron

  lower level easy non-excelsior tests
Posted by: CutNshootCamelRider - 11-27-2006, 11:40 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - No Replies

Hello, I need to bring up my GPA at Excelsior some. I need to replace some lower level classes where I made Cs. My only science is a C. So one of them needs to be a hard science.

I need a 3 credit hour science and 10 additional generic lower or upper credit hour tests that I will be able to get a letter grade in.

I know many of the clep\dantes tests don't get letter grades just p/f. I also need a math test that is only P/F since I would be hard pressed to get an A in math!

thanks,

CutNShootCamelRider

  Principles of Supervision
Posted by: Bongsau - 11-27-2006, 11:26 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (7)

So, I am consistently scoring about a 90% on Peterson's practice tests for Principles of Supervision. Is that good enough for an A?

Thanks!

  Any Tips on HRM?
Posted by: Leilani - 11-25-2006, 10:02 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (4)

Anybody got any tips on the DSST HRM exam? I meant to take this a couple of weeks ago but got delayed. It seems so easy compared to many others, but I don't want to take it too lightly.

Anybody who's taken it I'd love to hear your comments.

Thanks!

For those who have taken the Principles of Accounting CLEP. How much of the exam required the memorization of formulas?

I have no reason to go to this web page now. I finished my last test this morning. Excelsiors Human Resources exam. Since last Jnauary I have finsihed eighty credits. Most of them by testing. InstantCert has been very helpful.

Now I'm going to take a long nap.
