Anyone interested in helping us beta-test?
Posted by: sgloer - 02-11-2006, 08:23 PM - Forum: Off Topic - Replies (18)

We're trying to switch over our authentication system to a different setup.

Before we fully implement it for all users, we've love to have a few people use it and make sure there are no major bugs.

The only difference on your end is that you would have to log in twice. Other than that, you would just use the site as you normally would, and you shouldn't even notice anything different, but if something malfunctioned on you, then you'd let me know.

If you're willing to help with this, please reply to this thread, and I will then send you a Private Message with the details.

Thanks!

  39 Credits in 3 Months....
Posted by: Cold_navy - 02-10-2006, 05:20 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (2)

I am on a mission to get the last 39 credits I need for my degree in the next three months! I statred the 1st of Febuary and I want to be done before the 1st of May.

Ok, I took two exams this week (Intro to Sociology, and Information Systems and Computer Applications). Both seemed pretty easy. I used only InstantCert for both exams. I DID STUDY, not just run through the flash cards. I will find out how I did in two weeks.

Next week I plan on taking three CLEP tests. Analyzing and Interpreting Litterateur, Humanities, and American Literature. Any suggestions???

  Social Science And History Clep
Posted by: RBOWMAN - 02-10-2006, 03:50 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (12)

I just wanted to share my clep experience on this clep cours. I also took the two U. S History courses and then found a sample test course on social science and history. It proved to be a natural flow from the history course to this one and for six credits I decided to go for it. I scored very well and without any studying whatsoever. In fact I took it on the same day as my intro to psych. exam which I passed first...felt cocky ..and said to test administrator let's have the social science and history test. It worked!!

I have this exam soon, and only used Instacert's site for studying. Has anyone done the same and had a good outcome? What to focus on?

Thinking of taking this. Has anyone taken this just using instacert's site to study by? It seems like an intimidating exam. Any tips?

Just wondering if anyone had any info concerning this test. I have used the InstantCert information as the only source of study for a couple of other exams and did fine. Just wondering if the same will hold true for this test. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
