Thinking of trying to conquer the BA in history. Just wondering does UMPI accept Study.com's Western Civilizations classes or not? On the DF UMPI BA History Degree Plan, it list SL's Western Civilization classes only for credit approval. 

In all this time I've never even taken a Study.com or SL course. Of those two which course provider is easier and quicker? 

Has Degree Forum's UMPI BA History Degree Plan still been currently working smoothly for most students? Or has there been some major changes?

Hey everyone! I'm new here, but I've been reading a lot of your posts and I think it's time for my own. Hopefully the template I used is correct. 

About me... I've been an IT Professional for almost 25 years... all without a Bachelor's Degree. I've been very lucky. I was a good student in High School (3.5 GPA), but I was a terrible student in College (2.7 GPA) and sitting in a class for 8-12 weeks never worked for my brain. I've always done better with "bootcamps" and "certifications", so I just quit college after I got my Associates Degree in Radio & TV Broadcasting... yeah, I know... lol

Fast forward a couple decades and now my daughter is heading to college next year!? I began researching her options when I found out about "degree hacking" and now I am hooked. Not only for my daughter, but for myself! Why not try again?

So, I am asking for your help to review what I have started below so I can confirm that I am doing everything the right way. And, by that I mean: Is my plan fast, cheap, and is it my best option? Am I missing any "gotchas"?

The last time I posted I had gotten my Pierpont degree, was accepted to nursing school and getting ready for that.

Well, I graduated summa cum laude last month! Super proud of that, nursing school was not easy. I took the NCLEX last week and got my license today. I still can't believe I'm here and I'm a registered nurse!

I'm super grateful to this forum and everyone who posts here. I know most people here aren't going into the healthcare field, but if you have any questions I will try to help out.

Does anyone know if credit banked credits (from TESU, Excelsior, etc.) will transfer to another university?

For example: Finish an ASBA at TESU, transfer and graduate from Liberty Business Administration & Data Analysis Bachelors, use banked TESU credits to satisfy prerequisites for Liberty MBA

Does anyone know if UMPI will bank ACE Credits on their transcripts like TESU or Excelsior?

I transferred in HumBio1001: Human Biology as well as SCIE1021: Human Biology Lab from Sophia, but they only counted as electives. Shouldn't this cover the GEC - GLO 3E requirement?

I know that multiple people on these forums teach online as adjuncts. How would you characterize the job market for math/physics? I know that most online schools do not focus on math/physics heavy programs.

I currently have some credits from previous courses (including ACE and Sophia.org) and would like to ask if anyone has successfully transferred credits to a school like TESU, Excelsior or UMPI?
