I've been teaching myself Koine Greek* in my spare time and thought it would be cool if I could find a way other than a PLA to get credit for it.
I'd much prefer a simple CBE test of some kind. I'm doing TESU if that matters.

Has anyone done this? 

I know its unlikely but a cursory search hasn't come up with any results. I'm now studying for about 21+ credits in the next couple months and don't have a ton of time to hunt for it so thought I'd ask on the offchance someone's already done it.

*Not modern Greek, pretty different. A dead language, "Ancient" or "New Testament" Greek.

Hi everyone, I'm getting a little confused on the double minor this with the B.A.S./B.L.S., and could use some advice:

I am officially starting Fall 2. All my gen eds (and some of the required other business classes) are complete. I have transferred in 6 UL elective credits from Sophia (Business Law and Business Ethics). 

The only classes I need to take to finish the B.A.S. Management are:

It's been a while since I've asked the forum any questions, but I'm going over the hump in my DBA program and I'm looking forward to the research portion of it at TESU. I have nothing but stellar things to say about the program and it has introduced me to a lot of areas that I was unfamiliar with initially. For those that have done research in the field of business, what were some topics or trends that you discovered and wrote about? I am beginning to cogitate on my topic as I prepare for the lengthy research portion of my program.

Seems as though there has been an increase in ACE recommended courses for Coursera. Some of these look like they have been reevaluated/extended, but there appears to be a couple of new ones by Microsoft. I might have to give some of these a try:

So Im assuming it wont, but does anyone know if the EdX TESU: Information Literacy (yes I know its only works for the BACS) would count to the 15 in house credit min?  It being a TESU class offered through EdX makes me thing there might be a small chance it is.

Does anyone have info one way or another?

TEFL Full Circle has been pushing a Level 5 Diploma (almost the equivalent of an American Associate's Degree but not quite, I think) to everyone on the mailing list for 6 payments of £19.99 for a little while. It appears to be an ongoing offer as I've been getting these emails ever since it was introduced. The "regular price" is £300 and it's on sale on the website for £250.

TEFL Full Circle is accredited by ACCREDITAT, a UK accreditation outfit that specializes in TEFL/TESOL schools registered with the UKRLP. The Diploma is issued by Gatehouse Awards and Ofqual vouches for it being Level 5. TEFL Full Circle claims it is the equivalent of holding a Foundation Degree (approxx. UK equivalent of an Associate's degree?) and a CELTA. Gatehouse Awards appears to be a real TEFL/TESOL school that offers in-person and online credentials that top out at Level 5. I'm inclined to to think the Ofqual makes it at least as valid as something from an American community college but someone that knows more is welcome to chime in and possibly confirm/deny whether UKRLP overseeing an accreditation body has any real value. AFAIK this hasn't gone through whatever the process is to get ECTS tied to it, it's just the Level 5 Diploma.

For the quality of TEFL Full Circle, I did the 160 hour course a couple years ago. I did it over 2 days so my completion time was closer to 16 hours than 160. It was...fine. I already had a couple years teaching Microsoft IT and CompTIA courses so I could probably teach the classes, but I'm not sure if I would say it's enough preparation for someone with no classroom teaching experience of any kind. For the Black Friday price of 20 quid and having every other course/40 hour certificate that was available at the time as a free bonus, I really can't complain. The best training money can buy? No. Is the Diploma a good value for money? Yeah, probably.
