Hi all!
I am looking to return to school and finish my BA in Psychology. After researching the most effective and cost efficient way to do so, I’ve landed on Sophia/UMPI! I have a total of 71 credits already and I am having some trouble figuring out what remaining classes I can complete with Sophia before transferring to UMPI. Now from my understanding, I need to take 30 credits with UMPI directly. Leaving a total of 19 credits I can take with Sophia. I am looking for guidance or a point on the right direction on which classes I should take with Sophia.
The credits I already have are;
ENG 111 - Written Eng/Lit Studies - 3 credits
LLEE 111 - Liberal Arts Transfer - 3 Credits
LLEE - Liberal Arts Transfer - 3 credits
PSY 101 - Intro to Psychology - 3 Credits
SPAN 115 - Spanish for Communication - 3 credits
SPAN 116 - Communicating in Spanish - 3 credits
Hist 118 - Intro to African History - 3 credits
SOC 101 - Intro to Sociology - 3 credits
BHSC 366 - Medical Ethics - 3 credits
ENG 112 - written eng/lit studies II - 3 credits
PSY 207 - psychology of learning - 3 credits
PSY 237 - human sexual behavior - 3 credits
BIO 110 - intro to human biology - 3 credits
PSY 262 - Alcohol , Drugs & Behavior - 3 credits
SPAN 359 - Span Amer Black Literature - 3 credits
SPCM - Oral Communications - 3 credits
ENG 249 - American Gothic
FORL 233 - Comparative Romantic Literature - 3 credits
PSY 254 - child psychology - 3 credits
RELG 109 - Intro to religion - 3 credits
I appreciate all the help I can get!

I don't know much about this topic. I am a community college educator who is helping a student in need. The student needs 3 units of academic work (any 3 academic units) posted for the Summer semester in order to maintain athletic eligibility. I'm guessing the work will need to be completed/posted by 8/2/24 since that's when the Summer semester ends here. I'm not sure where to start or what options (if any) are available so any information or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Basically... My top 5 countries of choice for education, US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand... For this youngster and his younger sister, they're looking into Europe as colleges here have 'rejected' his applications to about 30 colleges.
Having said that, I believe he's looking at 'top colleges', if he's setting his path to Europe with the same thing in mind, it may fail. If I was in similar shoes, I would recommend any public/state institution within the country first, before going elsewhere.

MBA Illinois Tech (Stuart) via Coursera |

Hello,
I've been lurking here for a short time and learned quite some interesting things. Thanks to all sharing your experiences!
There's this Illinois Tech (Stuart School of Business) MBA degree for 15K USD on https://www.coursera.org/illinois-tech that looks interesting, but what surprised me is that it didn't get much mention on this forum (which I assume is mostly people from the US) nor on other platforms.
I'm hoping with this post to find out if anyone enrolled and could share what their experience was?
I saw many other <15K accredited MBA degrees on this forum but don't seem -as- flexible. I want to go slow, module-based, take a semester off if needed without much hassle. The format Illinois Tech proposes is nice, and I get to see most of their courses via Coursera to get an idea of the curriculum (which is why I'm surprised I don't find much info back, seems very transparant).
Some background info: Mid 30s, from Europe and would like to do an accredited MBA (preferably AACSB) to fill in blanks to eventually move (no rush) into a management role or start a company. I work in tech.
Thanks!

Hello! I'm looking for help/advice in building a degree plan using Sophia / Study.com / Straighterline to earn an Associates at Pierpont and then max transfers for an IT Bachelor's at WGU.
I'm not sure what kind of area of emphasis on my associates I should shoot for, but I was thinking Information Systems seems the most useful.
I am an excellent test taker and loathe educational busy work.
I have heard chatter that Sophia courses have recently become much more difficult / time consuming. I am looking for your opinions on preferred transfer courses among the self-driven options I've listed.
I am open to suggestions and appreciate your input. Thank you!
