Affirmative Action for Males is Still Legal |

Even though males are not a historically oppressed group, and we still live in a patriarchy, some institutions of higher education have implemented Affirmative Action for male applicants. In high school, female students have higher grades, complete more credits, participate in more extracurricular activities, and take more challenging courses. Women also apply to college, attend college, graduate from college, and graduate with honors at higher rates than men do. This has led to some institutions setting gender quotas and/or applying higher standards for female applicants.

Help TESU admission |

Hi everyone,
I apply to TESU at the beginning of this month as an international student. I already sent my TOEFL score and my application status says is Completed. But I still haven't received anything from TESU and I can't log in to myedison. I keep sending emails to admission but they just keep replying with the guidelines link and not taking my case and helping.
Does anyone have experience and know how to solve it?
Thanks

TESU is Upgrading the myEdison Student Portal to myEdison Experience |

The University's myEdison student portal was designed to help you navigate your courses, leverage Online Student Self-Service (OSS), plot your degree progress, interact with TESU mentors and staff, and receive course alerts and institutional updates. Over time, we began searching for a platform that expanded on these capabilities while offering students an optimum online course experience.
To deliver on the objective, we will be replacing the current myEdison portal with the myEdison Experience platform on June 3, 2024.
The current myEdison portal will remain in place until June 19, 2024, to allow students and mentors time to transition to the new system.

Hi Everyone,
I'm planning on going for the UMPI BAS and as well all know, you need 40 technical credits going in, plus an AAS. I've completed some Sophia technical credits as well as the Google IT Support Pro Cert. This Google cert shows as 15 credits on one page on the degree forum wiki and as 12 credits on another. I'm going to assume it's 12, just to play it safe. If anybody can confirm this one way or the other, that would be great.
I've also started working on the free TEEX courses and found some conflicting information on this forum as well as at some other locations as far as which TEEX courses provide ACE credits and, if they do, how many. I visited this page on the TEEX website and clicked on each of the 49 courses listed to verify whether or not they provide ACE credits and if they do, how many. https://teex.org/program/cybersecurity/ .
As of this posting, this is what it is:
AWR138 Network Assurance - 2 credits
AWR139 Digital Forensics Basics - 2 credits
AWR168 Foundations of Cyber Crime - 2 credits
AWR169 Introduction to Cyber Incident Management - 1 credits
AWR173 Information Security Basics - 2 credits
AWR174 Cyber Ethics - 2 credits
AWR176 Disaster Recovery for Information Systems - 2 credits.
I can confirm that the first 4 on the list do show up on Credly as the amomunt of credits shown. I finished those and got the TEEX staff to transfer them to my Credly account.
Also, I previously found some info that the below courses provide ACE credits. According to the same link I checked, they do not. Maybe they did before, but as of this writing, nope.
AWR395 Cybersecurity in the Workplace - 1 credit
AWR396 Network Security for Homes and Small Businesses - 1 credit
AWR398 Introduction to Information Sharing and Analysis Organizations - 1 credit
AWR399 Detecting and Responding to a Cyber Attack - 1 credit
I'm not sure if there are any other TEEX courses that provide ACE credits outside of what's on this list from the link I checked, but if there are, please let me know.
As far as my situation, with everything on this list, I can get to 39. I need 1 more stinking credit and I'm done with Sohpia courses and oogle certs. Are there any other sources of technical credits? Free or not. I really hope the Google cert I completed is 15 credits.
Hope this helps.
Thx!
AWR177 0145 Information Risk Management- 2 cr
AWR178 0145 Secure Software- 2 cr

I was worried about passing this after transferring from study.com, and I managed to get my 14 courses done in one month! Part of me wishes I would have done the whole thing at WGU, as the courses were so good, but I also liked my journey on study.com.
Really recommend the school to those thinking about going. You can do it!
