Hello, I'm at a loss. I'm late in the game. I'm almost 32 yrs old. I've been taking courses at community College as long as I can remember I think starting on and off in 2012 then again 2018 and steady from 2018-2024 one or 2 classes at a time because I was working full-time 40/50 hrs a week. I wanted to take all the classes I needed to transfer to a 4 year college like CSUN for my BA in liberal arts studies and teacher preparation program. I would be done this semester by spring at comm. College officially. Csun that's about 4/5 years. But Csun doesn't offer online classes. I can not physically go into the campus because I am still working temp jobs to help me get by in LA as I live alone and it's expensive. But yesterday I broke down crying because idk what to do anymore. I don't have a BA I don't want to waste anymore time in my life. I don't want to be a teacher. The only reason I wanted that path is I wanted to work in higher education.
My ultimate goal: I see myself in administrative roles or leadership roles. I want to get EdD, I want some sort of administrative job or director position in higher education in university. So I thought BA, then master's in education or teaching then a doctorate in education. But that could take 10 years and I also need experience in schools and in administrative roles for doctorate programs. I did some research and found some creditable schools that have dual combined Bachelor's and Master's Programs here: https://www.mydegreeguide.com/dual-degre...rs-degree/
Are there credible dual programs were I can get a BA and master's at the same time online that you know of? Also if I don't want to be a teacher at all what other options do I have ? The future is all online and remote so I want a career path that has those options. And ultimately do I need to waste 4 years getting a BA I hate taking classes that have nothing to do with the actual career fields or majors. Is it possible I can apply to a master's program without a BA? A counselor at Community College said I can do Bachelor's in Education and Master's in Business or a Bachelor's in Business and Master's in Education but cant find anything with those combined.
I was thinking business as well but I am not sure what jobs/career that would be good for me. I really never had the support or right direction. Counseling office is always just trying to get you to stay with them as long as possible and take classes you don't need. They are trying to get me to take classes I don't need for my transfer so I can get an associates degree, which is useless. Just so they have higher graduation rates in their community College. They already set my back twice because I was listening to them and trusted them. Please Help I need some guidance please. Side note I've worked with children and students for 12 years as a tutor/nursery school and Nanny that's why I thought I should go the teaching route but I'm exhausted from watching children and do not have the passion to teach. -THANKS
Hi, I've heard that when WGU does a transcript evaluation, you don't have the chance to send any more credits afterwards. What I don't get is how to know which of my credits will satisfy which course. If anyone could teach me how or let me know which courses will be outstanding, that would be awesome. I've looked at the mira haze degree plan page and want to get started jamming out Sophia.
Below are the credits I have currently.

I'm hoping to get a B.S. in Business Administration, and can't decide between Liberty University Online or TESU. I'd like to do as much as I can through alternative credit sources like CLEP, Sophia, SDC, etc.
Liberty would be my preferred school, but I'm wondering if TESU might be a better, more affordable fit for the credits I have already. I've created what I hope are feasible degree plans for both school, and have attached them both. Any advice, comments, etc. would be so appreciated!
Thanks!

People are waking up. One of the foreign language YouTubers that I follow went on a rant about how bad things have gotten in New York.
This is the first time I've ever heard him talk about politics, but it must have become impossible to ignore all the problems New York is going through with its incompetent woke leaders.
New York is currently experiencing:
High crime rates, with criminals seemingly having more rights than good citizens at this point.
High rent due to extensive housing regulations.
High taxes aimed at funding wasteful government spending.
Hello everyone, long time lurker here! I'm aiming for the most easily obtained degree regardless of cost, though cheaper options are welcome I am a US citizen but don't currently reside there. I am in my mid-30s and have been teaching TEFL for a decade and was hired as a grade 1 teacher. My goal is to work towards a master degree in elementary education but right now I need to obtain any degree I can to maintain my visa overseas.
This is what I have so far:
Study.com Communications 301: Diversity and Intercultural Communication Business 312: Advanced Operations Management Business 315: Logistics & Supply Chain Management Sophia.org Business Law College Algebra Public Speaking Environmental Science Introduction to Sociology US History 1 Critical Thinking Introduction to Statistics Sophia.org English Composition 1 Introduction to Nutrition Microeconomics Introduction to Business Principles of Management Business Law Workplace Communication Principles of Finance Project Management Visual Communications StraighterLine Introduction to Nutrition American Government Introduction to Philosophy United States History 1 Western Civilization 1
Nutrition and US History are redundant. I have maybe some credits from brick and mortar schools, 15 years ago, perhaps amounting to a semester and a half but I owe student loans (in default) and assume I can't access those anymore. I assume the same situation makes me ineligible for financial aid.
What school/degree combination would be most suitable for my situation and what other credits do I need to max out the transfer policy? I am eyeing TESU (Generic liberal arts degree) as I can transfer in 114 credits and then work on my capstone project.
I'm sorry if I am sharing too much background information, but I welcome any advice!
Thank you in advance!

Edit: I just discovered the UMPI Reddit. Also looking good!
Can CLEP, SDC, Sophia, etc. be considered Education Credit Expenses on one's taxes? I've applied credit for them toward my degree at TESU. I was just wondering this as I'm doing my taxes right now.
I'm waiting to hear back from my advisor (it's been a few days), but my transfer report came back and everything was anticipated but this one item - Financial Accounting. I took the Financial Accounting class at Sophia, since it was on the wiki list. I'm wondering if this is a new development, or just an oversight?
There's an accounting 101 class on SDC that transfers, I'm wondering if I should pay for another month of SDC and take that final just to be safe. I placement tested through 80% of it.
