Not sure why police officers were making these snarky remarks in the article, but there should be 'calm' and advocates should do their best to have any possible charges made be completed if at all possible...

This is weird, Taekwondo instructors should be teaching the following, but the instructor didn't do any of that... It could have been totally avoided if they followed through with such teachings!
- Relaxation and meditation exercises, as well as breathing control
- A focus on mental and ethical discipline, etiquette, justice, respect, self-confidence, and leadership skills

Hi All,
I have been admitted for BACS program and was given credits transfers of 52 with previous education. I have nearly 10 years of experience in IT. I am thinking to have computers degree since I don't have specialized degree in computers science previously.
I am completely new to process and was wondering if someone who is already ongoing in completing the similar program from TESU can guide me on how to earn credits and pathways from Study.com, or Straighlearner or other resources.
I have gone through the wikiplan, however was wondering if anyone has any spreadsheet plan with all courses and best possibilities to complete Individual course.
Suggestions on open book exam courses instead of protractor ones.
Location : Toronto
Goal: Complete the program to get promoted in current roles also to have as on option move to US on TN visa which needed computers science degree
Apologize if i have given proper intro, but would really appreciate the help by anyone.
Thank you!

Your Location: Baton Rouge,Louisiana United States.
Your Age: 53 years
What kind of degree do you want?: Political Science/History/Education.
Current Regional Accredited Credits: None
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: None
Any certifications or military experience? No
Budget: I can make the budget work but I want to be as cheap as everyone else..ie flat rate
Commitments: Full time job, wife (smokin hot) 12 year old son in sports
Dedicated time to study: I'll make the time to get this done this priority #1 right now
Timeline: Finishing the courses required for the degree as fast as possible family focus right now.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: I have all Tuition paid at ASU which I start on3/11
Schools:ASU (would really like to grad from but time is more important) UMPI they have the course study, WGU sort of, TAMU sort of
Spent 25 years in Auto Dealership mostly as a General Manager. Have a strong background, however looking to go towards education and become a Principal. I would like to have an impact on my community. At my age father time is just a couple streets over though. Thanks for all the advice in advance. I've looked on ASU's website they don't appear at least on the surface to accept many credits from transfer from any UMPI, WGU, TAMU. Will they typically make exceptions etc? I did see where they had a submit form if you thought you had a class that was similar?
One quick add the ultimate goal is to obtain a Masters in Education!

Universidad Azteca's new doctorate programs |

Now that the dust has settled with UCN, Azteca has new doctoral offerings! Unfortunately, the cost has skyrocketed while ROI has declined. In addition, you now need to be a Mexican citizen for Azteca's education doctorates to be a tutulo oficial. It's hidden in the fine print somewhere I don't remember off the top of my head. All foreigners will recipe a propio.

Partnership #1: DTI University in Slovakia
There are two programs available.
PhDr. Doctor of Philosophy in Management
PaeDr. Doctor of Pedagogy
A master's in administration/education is required, not just any master's. The master's has to come from a "recognized institution." You will have to get permission from DTI to defend the dissertation online. You'd like to think that's a rubber stamp, but you never know.
A degree from DTI only is 8900 euros. Interestngly enough, these degrees are not offered by DTI directly, only through Azteca. Getting a Doctor of Education or DBA from Azteca in addition to DTI brings it to 10800 euros. DTI claims to be accredited. I couldn't find by whom with 3 minutes of Google searching. Unirank puts the school at #9213 in the world.
Partnership #2 - Collegium Humanum – Warsaw Management University
This is only offered as a dual degree, tipping the scales at 9800 euros. I could not find any ranking information about this school, but it is a private school. From what I've read, that equates to not being very good in Poland. The degrees offered are:
Education:
Collegium Humanum – Warsaw Management University will award the (Dr.edu.) Doctor of Education degree
Universidad Azteca will award the Doctor (Dr.) in Education.
Psychology:
Collegium Humanum – Warsaw Management University will award the (Dr.Sc.) Doctor of Science in Psychology degree
Universidad Azteca will award the Doctor (Dr.) in Social Sciences.
Sociology and Cultural Studies:
Collegium Humanum – Warsaw Management University will award the (Dr.Sc.) Doctor of Science in Sociology and Cultural Studies degree
Universidad Azteca will award the Doctor (Dr.) in Social Sciences.
Business Administration:
Collegium Humanum – Warsaw Management University will award the (Dr.oec.) Doctor of Economics in Business Administration or the DBA Doctor of Business Administration degree
Universidad Azteca will award the Doctor (Dr.) of Business Administration.
Legal Studies:
Collegium Humanum – Warsaw Management University will award the (LLD) Doctor of Laws degree
Universidad Azteca will award the Doctor (Dr.) in Laws.
I came across this on the sister forum. This sounds like a more expensive version of the degrees issued by Akademia Jagiellońska W Toruńu to me.
tadj Wrote:The "university" is not on the list of universities in Poland, because it is not...um...a university. In Poland, it is considered to be an accredited non-state higher education institution, which can grant European ECTS-credit approved degrees in the more practical and applied subjects.
Secondly, the name Warsaw Management University can indeed suggest that it is comparable to university-type institutions....to someone who doesn't know about how the Polish higher ed system works. I can assure you that it is not a university under Polish law. The term "uniwersytet", "akademia" and "politechnika" cannot be used by any non-doctoral degree-granting institutions. In fact, it is absolutely illegal to use such terms in the case of higher schools. That's why the school isn't called university in Polish. It is called "Collegium Humanum - Wyższa Szkoła (higher school in direct translation of the name) Menadżerska." The school markets itself as a university, but it only does so in English. There's nothing illegal about that, as the aforementioned law does not forbid such loose usage in another language, although one could question whether this is fair. It might simply be a way to attract foreign applicants, who might be confused by the term 'higher school'. Again, it is not wrong to employ such language in another language. It is non-issue, as it is not breaking any Polish law.
Oh...and don't be fooled by their "Doctor of Business Administration" title. It is not a degree in Poland. The "MBA" isn't a degree either. It is a "Certificate of Completion of Postgraduate Studies" (Studia Podyplomowe), a valuable credential for people who already have a Bachelor's or Master's degree upon application to the post-grad program.
I am simply trying to communicate that the school ought to be compared to an applied college with degree-granting powers instead of a university. That would be a fair comparison. https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?thr...ity.56413/
Azteca seems to agree with that assessment.
Quote:The Polish degree is a university own postgraduate further education course and the qualification is offered and awarded acc. to Art. 160ff of the Polish University Law 2018 as a partial EQF Level 8 qualification requiring at least 120 ECTS credits.
Partial Level 8 = not a real doctorate. That sounds like a $2000-3000 qualification to me. Expecting it to evaluate as anything better than ABD status is probably hoping for a bit too much. That may or may not be worth the asking price to you.

Is online college easier now? |

I am curious about online undergraduate college, particularly from the perspective of those who attended in person years ago and again more recently. Are the online programs easier than college years ago - like in the 90’s or so? I’ve taken graduate courses from a couple of schools now and the format has been pretty similar. And it seems much easier than what I recall from my undergrad years. The big difference that I see are the capstone/cornerstones. I never had to do anything like that. My son is a HS junior and still has no idea what he wants to do. Like, not even a slight clue. He doesn’t like school, but hasn’t completely written off going to college. He also hasn’t expressed interest in any trades either. When I talk to him about college, I don’t want to be too “out of touch” with what it’s like now. I would also be interested to hear from anyone who has done online and in-person recently.

Planning help for Bachelors in Healthcare Administration |

Your Location: Los Angeles, California, United States.
Your Age: 35 years
What kind of degree do you want?: Bachelors in Healthcare Administration.
Current Regional Accredited Credits: None
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: None
Any certifications or military experience? No
Budget: I Have a budget of 20k. Id like to stay under this as much as possible.
Commitments: I have a full time 8-4 gig, I have 4 kids and all but 1 of them are in sports, so practices during the week, games or tournaments on the weekend.
Dedicated time to study: I can see myself studying about 20-30 hours a week.
Timeline: Finishing the courses required for the degree as fast as possible would be ideal.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: I can get reimbursed 3k a year from my work.
Schools: open to any school but it has to be 100% online.
Thank you guys ahead of time for your time, it's much appreciated. A little bit about my situation. Ive been in the medical field (Radiology Technologist) for about 12 years now. I work for a great company with top pay and benefits in all of Los Angeles. I didn't finish High School but I did receive my GED at the age of 17. After that I went straight into a private college where I obtained my certification for becoming an R.T. I have through out the years obtained my Computed Tomography license, and most recently my MRI license. As for that being said, I do not have any college credits. The credits I received from the private college was not transferrable credits and not sure if they are even valid since its been over 10+ years. Through out the years, Ive read a lot of financial books and Ive always had interest in financing. I plan on going back to school to further my career but now on the management/leadership side. Ive been auto rejected for management/supervisor roles due to not having a bachelors degree even with the years of experience I have in my field. I want to find the right path for myself that is manageable, cost efficient, and flexible. In January of this year I started studying for the CLEP College Algebra, I just finished the CLEP review book and I have to say, it's tough. Ive taken some mock test and have failed them. Im definitely not ready to seat down for that yet. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
