Good morning. I'm a returning student working Help Desk. I'd like to finish a Software Engineering degree as quickly as possible. WGU seems to be a good option for me. What is the process for applying/transferring credits like?
For example, I have credits from 3 different colleges over time. I want to take as many Sophia/SDC courses as possible. Shall I take all the Sophia/SDC coursework first and then apply to WGU? Can I verify which previous courses will transfer before applying to WGU so that I'm not locked out from transferring new coursework? I'm not sure about the order of these operations. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I got this degree plan for a Liberal Arts B.A. from a TESU degree advisor back in '22, so please let me know if anything has changed. I have an A.A. in Liberal Arts from SUNY Empire.
Sophia Courses:
- Environmental Science (Completed)
- Visual Communications (Completed)
- Art History II (Completed)
- Introduction to Ethics (Completed)
- English Composition II
- Public Speaking
These were the suggested Study.com Courses, of which I need 5; one must fulfill the Civic Engagement category
- Business 313: Organizational Communication (TESU course COM-391)
- Business 324: Managerial Communication
- Business 305: Leadership Communication
- History 306: The American Civil War
- History 311: The Holocaust
- History 308: Causes and Effects of the Vietnam War
- Psychology 310: Psychology of Personality
- Psychology 312: History and Systems of Psychology
- English 305: Advanced Technical Writing
- English 301: Non-Western Literature
- Sociology 305: Sociology of Work
- Business 323: Organizational Theory (TESU course PSY-360)
And finally, the TESU Courses:
- SOS-110 (Critical Information Literacy)
- LIB-495 Liberal Arts Capstone
Which of these Study.com courses are recommended as the easiest/quickest? I want to avoid as much writing as I can. Also, how long would this degree plan take approximately? Thank you.

Touchstones graded after subscription ends? |

With study.com, if you submit all your assignments for a class before your subscription runs out, they will still go ahead and grade them, and then mark the class as complete if you have finished everything else (all the quizzes and the exam, if there was one).
Will Sophia do that, too? Or do you have to have all your touchstones returned to you first (and if they're not, do you have to renew in order to get the grades and complete the class)?

Which MBA program |

I've decided to get my MBA after having completed my undergrad at TESU. I'm stuck between Pitt state University that holds an AASCB accreditation and is $11970 vs Eastern University that holds an ABSCP accreditation and is $9900.
I'm looking for something that *sounds* good to an employer "they might confuse Pitt state uni with Pittsburgh PA which is geographically close* and also not too expensive. Does the accreditation matter? I haven't seen too much conversation around PSU. Any insight?
