Has anyone taken the Financial Accounting TECEP?
I couldn't find any information through search of this website.
The recommended book covers Financial and Managerial Accounting.
Anyone know how much of the book is covered on the test?
Anyone know how difficult the test is?
My son aced the Intro to Political Science TECEP first try, but couldn't manage a pass on Microeconomics with 2 tries (despite reading the 2 recommended books and reviewing multiple courses on Study.com!)
Seems there's a wide range of difficulty in regards to TECEPs.
Hey everyone. I’m looking for some help in finding my best options for fast credits to obtain before mid-July. I was just hired on as an elective teacher at a high school & really want to bump my salary up to the next pay level for my first semester by bringing in credits. I start 7/30 so I would need to complete these before early/mid-July. I need to complete 18 credits to move up to the next pay level. I’m looking for "enroll any-time" type of schools/courses since I can’t wait until the next term to start.
Credits need to be in the field of education or business-related (my position is in a business-related subject). Need to be RA or NA. Levels 100 and up are accepted. I prefer courses that are mostly/ only exams. Cheap is king.

***I plan on taking BUS 206 Management Information Systems and possibly BUS 203 Principles of Marketing and BUS 402 Project Management if it would help all on Saylor.
I currently have 61 credits for an AAS BOG from Pierpont. I waiting for it to be conferred in August then I will start UMPI. I am hoping to get a BAS, with a minor in MIS and maybe business if possible. Later on, go for the MAOL.
I have done research and know that I have enough credits for Gen Ed and Technical but none for the residency requirement. I mainly need advice on which classes to take from UMPI to get the MIS minor and possibly business. I am hoping to stick with 7 + the 3 needed or MAOL. The classes with less writing would be preferred.
If anyone is interested I made a spreadsheet with a degree plan from someone else for a BAS that includes possible UL classes to choos from with reviews:
Hello Everyone,
I am new to UPI. Thanks this forum i was able to transfer 84 credits to UMPI. Now i enrolled in Summer 1. I am doing the Business 200 but here is my dilemma
- I have completed the final assignments and needs the free review so i can get better grade.
I emailed the final assignment (word, PPT, Excel) and he responded back that everything should be submitted via Brightspace. In Brightspace, i have my milestone and no final assignment link is there ....
I read the below message and it shows that i have to wait for this to submit the final? Any suggestions that how can i ask professor to review for feedback not for the final? Or should i wait for the Millstone get response first?
its bit embarrassing to ask professor again and again that how and where to submit my final assignement for their feedback first...
any suggestion?
Before completing your final assessment for BUS 200 please make sure that:
You have read all of the material and watched all of the videos in the previous sections.
You have completed all Milestone Activities and received a score of 3 (Proficient) or above on all rubric criteria by your instructor and/or an 80% or higher on any Knowledge Check quizzes.
Please be aware that the Final Assessment submission links will not open until all Milestone and Knowledge Checks receive Proficient scores.

My motivation for earning my degree is to achieve a chief level position.
I have looked at the UMPI BLS and CJ program as well as Texas A&M Commerce Programs. I have not heard the best things about UMPI CJ Program, but that is the internet for you. Looking for any advice to make some final decisions.
Hello. New here and planning my application to UMPI for a BA in Psychology.
I'm in the process of trying to map out my curriculum so I only need to take 10x courses (30 credits) at UMPI and reach my 120 credit total for graduation.
Here's what I'm looking at:
40 credits, GE's - This will be a combination of Sophia credits and some courses I've taken in the past I'm hoping will transfer into the right slots.
35 credits, Electives - I have a bucket of credits from 3 previous schools I've attended which should be more than enough to cover the 35 (even after I subtract away the credits I'm planning to use for GE's)
9 credits, 3x lower-level Psych courses available on Study.com
31 credits, 10x upper-level Psych courses taken at UMPI, plus their 1 credit Freshman orientation class
So, when I add it all up I get... drumroll... 115 credits total. Not the 120 needed to graduate.
What I discovered is...
The cause of this credit shortfall are the 2 double-dipped courses I'm trying to share between my GE's and the Psych reqs. These classes are:
General Psychology
Basic Statistics
I'm not even sure how to formulate my question exactly. I guess I'm wondering:
A.) Can these classes be counted both as GE's and as Psych reqs? If so, can I make up the remaining 5 credit shortfall with more transferred credits (I've got plenty of them).
Or
B.) Must I choose different GE courses to fill those requirements? For example, choosing Algebra instead of Statistics for the Math GE requirement and Ethics instead of Psychology for the SS GE req? (In other words, because General Psych and Stats are already being applied somewhere else, it is as if I've only got 34 credits counting towards my GE reqs and I need 2x additional courses to make up for that).
I hope this makes sense to someone. Thanks for any insights you might have.
Hello, I am a new member looking for general guidance. I graduated High School in 2007 and went to a local community college in 2007-2008 before leaving to pursue work. I have been in Law Enforcement for 13 years and the longer I work, the more I regret not pursuing a degree. While perusing the job opportunities outside LE, many require a BS degree to be considered. I would like to obtain a basic BS degree that would fulfill this need so I can explore opportunities that are more relevant to my interests. Aside from my career in LE, I also was a senior Android Developer for a software company in Chicago for 5 years. I know this doesn't translate into credits, but I may be able to easily pass some of the lower-level IT courses if I need to jumpstart my credits. Here is the template with my current information:
