Does UMPI YourPace accept Credly Transcripts? |

I have received two automated emails from UMPI requesting official transcripts. I have sent transcripts from Credly twice as well as emails inquiring if UMPI accepts transcripts via Credly but have received no response. Jessica has not responded to my call but I understand from the forum that she is quite busy. If Credly is not accepted, is Parchment the best option for ACE credit?
My Sophia courses, CSM course and Google Project Management certificate are recorded on the Credly transcript. The only other college level study is the Intuit Bookkeeping course through Coursera (TADA). Coursera has not sent that to Credly. I am uncertain if the bookkeeping certificate is recognized for college credit. If so, I don't think Coursera provides transcript.

Help - Excelsior Degree Transfer |

I enrolled in Excelsior University. My EC said I would have to go through Coopersmith for Business Data Analysis and Business writing. I signed up, completed the 6 assignments for business writing with a B average. Data Analysis doesn't have test or assignments. Just the final. Can anyone who has taken these two finals give some insight? Since there is a two month waiting period if you fail, id like to be a first time pass.
Thank you.

This came across my Facebook feed this A. M. It's a fascinating discussion.

As an aside - I highly recommend attending the "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" speech at the Historic St. John's Church in Richmond. It's amazing they sit you in the pews. you could be seated next to a reenactor who is portraying one of our Founding Fathers. It is also often performed at Red Hill. Patrick Henry Jolly, Patrick Henry's fifth Great Grandson is a frequent guide/performer at Red Hill

Rome Business School |

Hi guys, I came across this Masters in Finance program: https://romebusinessschool.com/master-in...e/#program
They also have lots of other online business masters in English.
Rome Business School appears as #23 for best online MBA in Europe in this ranking: https://www.topmba.com/online-mba-rankings-emea?page=1
Is this a somewhat respected ranking, or a complete no-name site?
Tuition for the whole degree seems to be a little under 7k Euros.
I found this about their accrediation: https://romebusinessschool.com/accreditation/
It seems like the International University of Valencia validates the degrees and gives the ECTS.
They also seem to have some partnerships with what I would believe are somewhat respected universities (Pace University in New York and EAE Business School in Spain)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rome_Busin...20Training)
Is this just a really fancy version of ENEB that invested more in proper marketing and partnerships, or is this an actual (normal) Masters program?
The site and internet presence definitely look a lot more respectable than ENEB with it's 1 test for a whole (or multiple) masters degree(s)... but if it's still a sketchy and not very legit degree it's surely not worth 7k.
I remember that one of the top business schools in Europe from Spain also just hands out professional masters like ENEB does but counts as a great business school and people pay lots of money for it. Is this something similar to this: a respected and good business school but with a somewhat shitty (half-accredited) degree?
I hope someone knows more about this institution/their programs.

UMPI Degree — transfer + planning advice! |

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to enrol with UMPI with the Your Pace program. I’m a Canadian (with Canadian + UK citizenship), who is living in the Netherlands. I’m 43 years old, I have a great career working for the UN in communications, and have managed to get this far in my career on years of experience and no degree. This is now starting to hold me back from progressing further, and I just want to get a BA so I can set my sights higher. My goal here is to get the degree with as little pain and fuss as possible.
I’m considering two pathways with UMPI — either the BABA Marketing degree, or BLS Management.
I have extensive communications/marketing professional experience, so this subject area will likely be relatively easy for me. On the other hand, I’ve read experiences of others saying that the BLS Management degree is simpler to achieve generally. I’d be curious if anyone wants to weigh in on which approach might be best here given my professional experience in this area..
In terms of transferring credits in, back 22 years ago I attended a community college in Canada, studying graphic design. I’m unsure if this will be of any value or in terms of transfer credits, or if they are even worthwhile sending for assessment. Is it worthwhile seeking international transfer credits for 22-year old community college courses? Note that this will require me obtaining a transcript evaluation through a service like WES, so if my credits are of little or no value for transfer, I'd rather not spend the money to have the transcript assessed.
I suppose once my transfer credit situation is clearer, I would then start a Sophia/study.com course plan to transfer into UMPI with as much cheap credit as possible.
Grateful for others to share any similar experiences relevant to my situation! Cheers!
Location: Living in the Netherlands; hold Canadian + UK nationality
Age: 43
What kind of degree do you want?: BA
Potential Credits:
I attended a 2-year community college at Humber College in Ontario, Canada from 2000-2002. Unsure if these will be of any value or are even worthwhile pursuing for a transfer credit given the time and expense of getting my old Canadian transcript assessed by a and how long ago these were obtained.
In all of the below courses I achieved 70%+.
3 CR - GRAF 112 PS Typography 1
2 CR - GRAF 115 PS Colour for Communications
3 CR - GRAF 117 PS Digital Design 1

2 CR - GRAF 418 PS Internship

I also have completed an online continuing education course offered by San Diego State University, which I also am not clear on if it holds any transfer value in this context:
10 PDUs / 1.0 CEUs - LS0007: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt

Canadian 90 credit BA -> any 120 credit BA |

Hi all.
Your Location: Ontario, Canada
Your Age: 33
What kind of degree do you want?: The degree I can get fastest given the credits I already have!
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: None.
Any certifications or military experience? No.
Budget: Up to $7k USD, but really as cheap as possible!
Commitments: I work full time, other than that nothing.
Dedicated time to study: Around 20-24 hours a week.
Timeline: No specific timeline, budget is more important here, but of course the faster the better.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: None.
A bit about me: I live in Canada (citizen) and I'm 33. I want to get a master's degree from a US school purely for immigration purposes. Unfortunately my Canadian bachelor's degree is only 90 credits, making me ineligible for almost any master's I've inquired about -- and I've inquired a lot. Online learning at my alma mater isn't an option.
I'm aware of the Coursera/UCB data science master's, but data science is just not for me. I'm not a numbers person and I already have a career in UX writing/technical writing. Looking more for degrees adjacent to these fields (let me know if you know any I'm already eligible for given my current education...)
If I need to get a 120-credit degree to pursue master's studies, what is the cheapest way to do it and in which program? My bachelor's degree is in cognitive science, an interdisciplinary program, so it's really hard for me to figure out how these credits would apply. I would deeply appreciate it if anyone has any insight.
Please be kind -- I know my grades are embarrassing. And I know I have 117 credits... I am not sure how I ended up leaving with just a 3 year degree. When I decided to cut loose from this program I was very depressed and not in my right mind.
