Sometimes I take courses outside of my program. As Henry V is my favorite Shakespeare, I signed up for this one. I wish it made sense for me to travel to Chicago to participate in the symposium.
This course, like all of my Basic Program classes, is non-credit. Learning for the sake of learning. I am loving the experience.
"King Henry V is one of Shakespeare’s great English histories, the final play in his so-called “Henriad” or “Major Tetralogy,” composed and first produced in the 1590s. At the center of the play is the maneuvering of the young king on the grandest possible stage, as he builds support for an invasion of France, foils a treasonous plot, leads a military campaign that culminates in the shocking English triumph at the Battle of Agincourt, secures the inheritance of the French crown and woos his future queen, the French princess Katherine."

"This course will immediately precede the Basic Program’s one-day Symposium on Henry V but all are welcome to take the course."

It looks like TESU rebranded their $3354 "Residency Waiver Fee" as an $3354 "Edison Accelerate Fee".
It now provides you with financial savings? WTF is this...

I’ve seen some threads about out of state fee waivers for only taking two courses for a Bachelors degree from TESU. How does this work and how many credits can be transferred in . I’m interested in the Bachelors in liberal arts / Healthcare management or health and wellness. I currently have 69 credits and still working on more through study com and Sophia .

I'm a little confused about when to apply for graduation. I only need the 10 courses for residency and am registered to start Mar 10th at the beginning of Spring II. I need 4 classes for the actual degree, and then 6 other random courses to complete the residency requirement. I' already have the classes approved and choose the easiest for me classes I can find. I'm hoping that I can complete all 10 courses in just 1 term. When do I apply for graduation?
Also when can I start applying for grad school?

Big 3 and other Bachelor degree options |

IFirst , I’d like to thank the posters on degree forum . I was able to get a pierpont AAS BOG degree in August . I have 69 credits currently and I’m still working on Sophia and study.com . With that said , what is my fastest and most affordable option to complete a BA or BS in general studies or liberal arts (since I suppose both of those would be faster than having a major . I’m looking for something as affordable and timely as possible. I know about the big 3. Charter Oak and Excelsior seem expensive. I’m enrolled now at UoPeople in BSBA with many credits but have a background in practical nursing and after a few business classes and it’s not very interesting for me . I know with general studies or liberal arts I can minor in something health related. (Health management, etc). Has anyone taken a similar route ?
Adding :
Your Location: USA
Your Age: Early 40s
What kind of degree do you want?: Bachelor’s in anything health related including liberal arts or general studies with minor in health related subjects.
Current Regional Accredited Credits: 15
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: around 52 or more
Any certifications or military experience? Licensed practical nurse
Budget: $3500
Commitments: 20 hours per week of job obligations
Dedicated time to study: 20 hours per week
Timeline: Need a degree by the end of 2025, so 10 months from now.
My priorities are getting are passing the cpc , obtaining a bachelors degree and with my background in practical nursing getting a job with health insurance or similar .
I could also keep pursuing the BSBA at UoPeople since they won’t let me switch back to BS Health Science since I’m at over 45 credits. However, BSBA is not something I’m very interested in.

How hard was General Chemistry at TESU? It is my last class for my BS and it is wrecking me. Just started and these Alex questions and assignments are taking me hours , are the exams just as hard? 60 percen of the grade is 3 exams. Will it get easier or is it all math? I did all the labs separately and they werent nearly as hard. What worked for you?

BA in Liberal Studies CS and NSM Concentration Questions |

I am helping someone plan their degree but I have some questions about the BA in Liberal Studies Concentrations. I searched the forums but I could not find an answer for this.
For the 18 credits in the BALS Computer Science Concentration:
Quote:A. Concentration (18 Credits)
COS-3300 - Computer Architecture
COS-2410 - Data Structures
COS-2050 - Python Programming
3
Select 9 credits from the following:
COS-4510 - Artificial Intelligence
CIS-3110 - Database Management
CIS-3200 - System Analysis and Design I
CIS-3510 - Software Engineering
1. Do they have to take these exact course names or transfer equivalents, or do they have flexibility for any transferable Computer Science / CIS courses at the same level?
1A. If they have to take these exact course names or transfer equivalents do we have a list here of transfer equivalents?
2. This is also confusing because the Degree Requirements state that "a minimum of 18 credits must be upper level, 3000 level or above, and no more than 6 credits at the 1000 level in the area of study" but they only have 5 (15 credits) listed here for UL credit not 18. So how would you meet that requirement? A: The capstone counts as one of the upper level courses, so that gets to you to 18.
3. I noticed the Capstone has changed and now says "LIB-4970 - Liberal Arts Capstone - Natural Sciences, Math and Computer Science". From what I read here if it was a BA degree the capstone would be on anything Liberal Arts related, I assume that changed and what does it mean?
For the 18 credits in the BALS Natural Sciences and Math Concentration:
Quote:Students complete 18 credits of Natural Science/Mathematics courses. For TESU course options go to Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
4. I have read here that this has to be in 2 or more NSM categories but it does not state this on the degree page so can all of these be Computer Science or CIS courses?
Thanks
