Which test taking method is best? |

Is it wrong to only take 1 clep exam at a time rather than 2? The reason why I ask is the place where I take the exams allow me to take 2 but for me studying more than one subject at a time is difficult, even though I have a great memory, I just want to maintain a focus on passing one exam at a time, so I don't have to wait 6 months to retake that subject. At the same time I feel like by not taking 2 exams at a time, I'm missing out on the future opportunities of my future career field. Whats your opinion on taking only 1 exam per test session?
Best Regards

Troubles Grow for a University Built on Profits - New York Times
The University of Phoenix
The complaints have built through months of turmoil. The president resigned, as did the chief executive and other top officers at the Apollo Group, the universityâs parent corporation. A federal court reinstated a lawsuit accusing the university of fraudulently obtaining hundreds of millions of dollars in financial aid. The university denies wrongdoing. Apollo stock fell so far that in November, CNBC featured it on a âBiggest Losersâ segment. The stock has since gained back some ground. In November, the Intel Corporation excluded the university from its tuition reimbursement program, saying it lacked top-notch accreditation.

A Few Excelsior Questions |

Hi Everyone...I've been considering a BA in Liberal Studies from Excelsior but I have a few questions. Does anyone out there have one of these degrees? I'm trying to decide just how much good it will actually do for me. My major focus is History and I am concerned the degree will not help me out much. If I transfer the BA to another school to go after my Master's, will they accept it? (I'd probably transfer to a state school in Florida like USF or UCF). I know Excelsior has Master's degrees too but I guess my questions would be the same for that degree as well.
Can anyone offer some input? Thanks!
Robert

APICS Exams (meet upper lev reqs for Business Operations Management) |

G'day,
I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with APICS exams. My advisor tells me that the majority of the exams are upper level and will meet the concentration requirements for Business Operations Management. I am looking at the exams that make up the CPIM certification and according to my advisor each exam would be granted 3 credits with only the one exam being lower level. So at $145 per exam for non-members or $25 student membership fee and $110 per exam this seems to be a reasonable option. They also have online courses for $450 for student members. I still have some questions for my advisor about these exams but wanted to know if anyone else may have looked into them.
If anyone is interested, the website is APICS - The Association for Operations Management

i recently just found what CLEP tests can do for me and since i want to graduate early i decided to take a few. i am going to take the Bio CLEP test and one other one. either american gov, human growth psyc, education psyc, or sociology. any advice for these tests?
when you took the bio test did you study all 700 questions on IC or just certain topics. at my school they tell you what is going to be on the test and on the bio test it says
"The test includes questions on the broad field of biological sciences, organized into three major areas: molecular and cellular biology, organismal biology, and populational biology.
Students should consider taking the exam if they can demonstrate the following abilities:
* knowledge of facts, principles, and processes of biology
* understanding of the means by which information is collected, how it is interpreted, how one hypothesizes from available information, how one draws conclusions and makes further predictions
* understanding that science is a human endeavor with social consequences. "
So any advice it what i should study? i would like to take them next week becasue if i do fail, and i hope i dont, i will have time to take them again before i graduate.
also which test did you think was the easiest out of the other ones, not including the bio?
Thanks for the help
Ted
