I know that we all have different ways of studying and understanding materials.
I would like to hear how others study for their exams especially that people that manage to do it in just few days write the exam and pass.
In passed experiences I have always learned some new tricks or tips of studying from other students and I would really appreciate your sharing.
I usually to spend about a week and half to go through IC flash cards and really understand them, I think I could do it faster, but I just don't know how.
I always have to write something down a couple of times for it to stick in my mind. I think sometimes I over do it and waste sometime.
Someone wrote on the Forum how they make up little stories in their minds to remember something that has really been so helpful to me.
Thank you in advance

Now that AMU/APUS is regionally accredited I was wondering who on this board is attending or graduated from there.
I looked up some old posts and it seemed like a few people were going to attend but were scared off because of the RA thing.
Care to share your thoughts/experiences etc.?
I have checked out there site and asked a few questions through the chat and email. I have found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful.
Doesnt mean im going to enroll there. I still havent made up my mind where I plan to go. I still have some exams to attempt.

I took the Clep General Math today as well as the DSST Intro to world religions. I walked out of that Math test feeling pretty low, I won't know if I passed for 6 weeks or so. I think there was a solid block of 10 questions that I totally spaced on. It was like looking at a foreign language! I took this one last year, and got a 49. Maybe I will have to hit it again in 6.
Still this is a pretty critical Clep to pass, as I will have my AAS as soon as I get a passing grade, and will submit my papers to ECE for my Bachelors.
On the flip, I felt very confident about the Intro WR.
Anyone else ever get this feeling after a CLEP?

Has anyone here taken the Spanish CLEP even though they haven't grown up speaking it? Spanish is something I am going to learn in my lifetime, I know that, but how hard is it to CLEP it if you haven't either grown up speaking it or lived somewhere where you have to learn it.
I figure it couldn't hurt to try. I'm not worried about losing $80. I just want to know how much time it will take and if I should take the time to do it now (or at all).
BTW, I do have some knowledge of Spanish. I can get my point across in most everyday situations. I don't know much of the grammar stuff though.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm wanting to begin my M.B.A. this upcoming October. I'm currently looking at all of my options for school. One in particular I was considering is Old Dominion University. However, they require Calculus credit in order to enroll in their Master's program.
As of this time, I have about as much math knowledge is probably somewhere between the DSST Fundamentals of College Algebra and the CLEP Mathematics General Exam. If I were sick enough to actually work my way up to the Calculus CLEP, what tests would you recommend I take and in what order to build up my math knowledge.
Precalculus is an obvious step, but are their others. I believe by testing my way up, it will help me stay focused and motivated on the task at hand. I do not expect it to be easy, but ODU does have a good reputation.
Thoughts/comments?
