Passed my first Clep Intro to Sociology and Feedback |

I just passed my first Clep introduction to Sociology, I got a 61.
I studied for one and Half week, I did most of the studying on Saturday and Sunday, I used IC, Peterson prep test and REA practice test.
I would say the exam was fair, there is a thin line between some theories so it's so easy to mix them up I guess that's why I had 61 instead of higher score
They were many questions on Research and the different types of research.
Also more than four questions in independent and dependant variables in different situations.
Most of the questions were Circumstantial, you had to read between the lines and connect with the different theories.
Also know who did what studies please pay much attention to people Like Max weber, Karl, Durkheim and their work it's easy to mix them up.
Know the Mean, mode and medium, I had about three questions and types of marriages, institutions and class system for example the caste and class system.
I hope this helps anyone taking the exam in the near future.
Thank you all whole helped me sort out the peterson prep test mystery

I just learned that if I retake Macro Econ in June, all my depth requirements will be completed. So now I will need 1 more upper level A & S (3 credits) course. Based on what I have left to complete (See my signature line), I would like some recommendations ...... I would like examples of Cheap and expensive 100% distance online or correspondence, proctored or not. Any thing interesting out there. I'm trying to avoid EC "essay" exams. Any suggestions?

Through the UoP I can log on to the student website and register to take 3 CLEP tests within 90 days. I've noticed though that you can access to take practice CLEP tests on other webistes - 3 tests within 90 days. My question is, If I register and take 3 practice tests on the UoP website can I log onto a different site to take 3 more tests? Just wondering if Petersons knows that you've already taken 3 tests. Am I making any sense?

I am so excited to pass yet another CLEP exam!! This test was not easy to pass, so anyone looking to take this one, please get all the materials you can to study. I studied for about a month for this one using IC, REA, Petersons, and Wikipedia and still only got a 57. I am sure there are many different versions of the exam, but my version seemed to include a lot of "what is the LEAST true of...." so it takes some deductive reasoning. Read the questions thoroughly before answering. I finished in an hour. It seems to me that the key to not feeling quite so pressured for CLEP exams is to mark questions that require more thinking and/or reading and go on. At the end you can take more time to think the harder ones through. Onward now to Humanities--yikes...
