Location: not from us
Age: 24
What kind of degree do you want?: Bachelor's in CS or Software Engineering
Current degrees: not related to cs and probably not recognized in the us , but I have a bachelor and a masters in medicine and I am 6 months away from completing my MD .
Current Regional Accredited Credits: none
Completed RA classes of note: none
I am 6 months away from finishing my MD , and I didn't really like medicine from the start but kept going just to get the degree , I really like everything programming and tech related , so I decided to be serious about it and get a degree in cs . I first found the WGU program and it was a dream , especially that it could be done in a short period of a time (I need to get this degree in the next 6 months to a year otherwise I ll have to go back to practicing medicine ) . But then WGU is not open for international students .
I tried looking at other alternative with the same price and duration options , I found TESU but it was a mess trying to understand all the credit transfer options and trying to calculate how much time and money it will take me since I have no credit . And I also have to take english certification exams to prove that I can speak english that will also take time . what are some options available for students like me ?

Associates after Bachelors? 2nd Bachelors |

Greetings,
I am considering doing a second bachelors where only credits from an associates degree would transfer.
I have 5 courses from cc, 6 courses graduate/non-degree, and 4 courses undergraduate that would not show a diploma on the transcript. Otherwise most of my courses are on a transcript with my bachelors degree mentioned.
The wiki for Pierpont says they won't award an Associates if you already have a bachelors. Has anyone confirmed this with Nancy?
Any other affordable school option that would give an associates with my existing credits from the bachelors?
Thanks!
I found that many community colleges offer a "reverse transfer," which is granting you an Associates degree after you left the institution based on credits received at a 4 year university. I filled out this form for my previous CC, even though it says you won't be eligible if you already earned a bachelors. Any other ideas? thx!

Hi! Recently, I've created my plan for a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Leadership. I need someone to review it to ensure I'll receive all possible credits before joining UMPI. Also, it would be great to receive suggestions or a list of elective options, as I'm unsure how many of my selected courses will count as electives and what other courses to choose. Thank you!

Guys, there's a Master called the Execute Master. The most typical is EMBA. Is this master's degree equivalent to an official master's degree in Spanish-speaking areas? Is it equivalent to a master's degree in the United States and Canada?

Hello everyone, I am quite new to this community, only finding about it earlier today. I also never knew about communities such as this one where people look to maximize their education in this way be it with graduation speed (speed running bachelors?) and / or minimize spent money. I never thought that something like this could be done and I am really interested, not to mention this gives me a bit of hope.
I am slowly going through the beginner guides (https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...dit--24842) but I also have some questions that I was hoping someone could help with.
Some background on me:
I am Canadian and have a college 2yr program diploma in Computer Engineering technology from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. I graduated in 2013. I do not remember my college grades (to be honest, they were not that great, maybe about 2.7 out of 4 gpa). I do not remember my high school grades either, but again, they were not the best (I believe around 60's% - 70's%).
My goal:
I need to get a bachelor of computer science or computer engineering (although I am heavily on the computer science) to advance my web dev / soft engineering career (I have been a professional in this field for around 6 - 6.5yr now). I don't think the university matters as long as it's accredited. I am mostly interested in getting the paper as soon as I can.
Initially, I thought I was a bit screwed due to my high school / college grades but I found out that some universities have mature student or continued education admissions which seem to be easier / a bit easier to get through but still not sure if I can actually get in. I also found a couple Canadian universities that seem to offer online programs (university of Athabasca, Thompson rivers university) which gives me some hope.
My questions:
- Anyone here have any experiences with Canadian schools? I would also be ok with attending an international university (I noticed many USA uni's are talked about in this community) as long as I could get it for a reasonable price (I also noticed some threads talking about quite cheap and / or free courses for credits)
-Most important question: Am I actually screwed due to my lackluster grades in high school and college or can I somehow get into a bachelor of computer science program somewhere?
Side note:
Apologies if portions of my text were talked about elsewhere. I am still looking through everything, it's just that I am feeling pretty overwhelmed and stressed out about the whole situation.

I need upper level credits in the Fine Arts (think Art History/Visual Arts/Design), and I am looking for suggestions. Editing to add that I am fine will as many Art History classes as can suggested. I know most online art courses will be Art History and theory.
I am fine with any source: exams for credit, regular college course (online), self-paced, ect. I would just like the cost to be as resonable as possible, and for any colleges to have easy registration (open registration/non-degree seeking registration).
These are for transfer to Excelsior's Bachelor's of Science in Liberal Arts, but feel free to make any suggestions. I can work out with my advisor what will or won't transfer. (I know that Excelsior does not require fine arts specifically. This is to meet requirements for the graduate program I will be applying to. )
If it helps here are the Fine Arts Classes I have already taken.
Contemporary Arts
Art History 1
Art History 2
2D Design
Drawing 1
Hispanic Arts of the American Southwest
Handbuilt Clay
Photography 1
Graphic Design 1

How does Villanova, SLU, Xavier (Cincy) compare against Georgetown in the communications and writing department? I’m looking at pursuing a career in communications/ Technical writing. I was admitted to all 4 of these schools for an online bachelors in General Studies but with a concentration in communications and writing. I’m online on the west coast so campus and location aren’t factors for me. Out of all these schools Georgetown has been the toughest with answering my questions. It’s also important that my program has some faith based theology in the curriculum from a Catholic/ Christian perspective. Georgetown’s program is the only one that doesn’t have a religion requirement and also seems to be a little too progressive for my taste. If anyone is familiar with the communications and writing at these schools please chime in. Thanks!
