I need to complete one of the following at SNHU in the Culmination Experience Gen Ed category:
Still needed: 1 Class in @ @ ATTRIBUTE = CLME or ENG 3@ Transfer = Y or 4@ Transfer = Y
or HIS 3@ Transfer = Y or 4@ Transfer = Y or IDS 3@ Transfer = Y or 4@ Transfer= Y or LIT 3@ Transfer = Y or 4@ Transfer = Y or PHL 3@ Transfer = Y or 4@ Transfer = Y or POL 3@ Transfer = Y or 4@ Transfer = Y or PSY 3@ Transfer= Y or 4@ Transfer = Y or SCS 3@ Transfer = Y or 4@ Transfer = Y or SOC 3@ Transfer = Y or 4@ Transfer = Y
I took PHL-316 on Sophia (Business Ethics) and it was NOT transferred in as Culmination Experience. It was transferred in as Ethical Thought and Equity even though I thought I had other classes that could have transferred to that.
I asked my advisor about it and he said PHL-316 does NOT transfer to Culmination Experience.
Before I go any further with appealing or whatever I wanted to post here and see if anyone else has noticed this no longer transfers, because it still says on the wiki that it does. https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/SN...ts_Roadmap
I have a community college class that I think will transfer to EETH therefore moving PHL 316 to Culmination. I just haven't completed that one yet so I didn't transfer it yet. Will it move automatically once I transfer it in?

Hello,
I've been advisd by SNHU Admission Counselor that "...all transfer students for the online programs have to take IDS-105 to fulfill [Social Justice and Sustainability] requirement". I'm looking to confirm if I've been given correct information.
According to the GE guidelines here, I should be able to take ENV101 - Environmental Science or even transfer it in from Sophia. I do not want to take IDS105 and would rather take ENV101 or some other class. How should I proceed?
P.S. for more information my plan is listed here along with the transfer audit.

Your Location: Texas, USA
Your Age: 44
What kind of degree do you want?: any, I just wont to get it done
Current Regional Accredited Credits: University of Houston - 12 / WGU - 71 / Sophia - 21
Any certifications or military experience? Lots of IT certs - CCNA/CCNP/MCSE Lost of CompTIA
Budget: I'd like to go the cheapest route possible. This will all be cash out of pocket
Commitments: Spouse / Kids / Pets / Farm work /Full Time work and Personal Company.
Dedicated time to study: I can study early in the mornings(2-4 hours if needed) and I have time at work to get things done (usually a good 2 hours per day can be set aside. Sat days are usually packed with nights free but I can do all day Sunday
Timeline: Fast as possible would be ideal but I am willing to extend the timeframe if needed. Overall I would like to be done within 12 months.
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: none
So I am just looking to get things done. Yes I have 71 credits at WGU but I don't thing they really translate into anything. Right now I am torn between TAMUC - General Studies or UMPI - BA PM and IS Unless someone knows of anything that fits better. At this point in my career I have a very solid background in IT, and while an IT degree would be nice I no longer see it as a "must have". Life happened, and I was never able to finish the WGU stuff..
I am still waiting on the U of H transcript but it is just college algebra, English, history stuff.. year 1 type classes.
WGU is:
EWOB EWOB Education Without Boundaries 1 Passed
INTE TCH1 IT Fundamentals -Computer Hardware 3 Passed
INTE TOS1 IT Fundamentals -Systems Software 3 Passed
MATH MQTA Quantitative Reasoning and Communication 3 Passed
MATH QLO1 Quantitative Literacy 6 Passed

If any of this needs more explanation or I did not format this correctly please let me know!
and thanks!

| UMPI - MINORS |

Your Location: US, Oregon
Your Age: 54
What kind of degree?: Bachelors
Credits / Other: None.
Sophia Learning Credits: 49.
Any certifications or military experience?
Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt
Budget: No budget constraints, but wasting money isn't fun, so there's that.
Commitments: I run a special needs foster home.
Dedicated time to study: I can spent 5 hours per day / 6 days week on schooling.
Timeline: asap
Goal?: UMPI. BABA Leadership with MIS and Project Mgt Minor.
Not so quick question. Im not sure if this is the right area or if I should post this under UMPI area.
High level:
I have 30 years of MGT experience, including owning four businesses and managing executive teams. I am overqualified for many positions but severely under-credentialed because I never needed a degree in the past.
I need a degree for my immediate goal, but now that I'm in it, I am thinking about maximizing my flexibility for the remainder of my productive years.
SOPHIA: After I complete Spanish I and Biology/Biology lab, my GEC will be covered. I also took some electives while waiting for grades to fill time and maximize the value of Sophia. I will take Sophia's 200 and 300 division classes that are accepted @ UMPI before going to STD or just starting at UMPI (Oct start date).
I plan to get a BABA in management and leadership, but now I am thinking about minors, Specifically PM and MIS. A third area of interest is psychology.
Is there any way to know what classes will be required to get those minors? Do I take those instead of free electives, or ?
I appreciate any advice, and I appreciate this forum. There is lots of good information here that has helped me plan this out.
