I'm looking for the cheapest/fastest route to the NCIDQ exam for interior design for someone with a bachelors degree in another field (no related credits).
From what I can tell so far the options are slim and mostly in person. From what I see there is little difference in the credit requirements between the handful of "first professional" masters and bachelors degrees. There don't seem to be any online masters and local would be tough (UNA is the only program close enough). Any good way to hack these? Alt credits possible (I see nothing on SDC)?
There is also theoretically a "certificate" option, but I am not sure these actually exist and meet the 60 credit requirement.

Hello Everyone,
I am planning to complete the BA Computer Science Degree. I am NJ resident and live (will say 5 mins drive).
I am more concern about the Discreet Math which i don't have in my current UMPI BLS Degree. Any suggestion that Study.com or cheaper other courses i can transfer?
I have completed UMPI BLS in IT and Project Management.
I competed UMPI MAOL as well.
The goal for me is to complete the Computer Science Degree.
My all UMPI BLS Credits transferred from Sophia which were around 121 where all the IT course (Intro ones)
Anyone has any suggestion? I can take Mercer county Discreet Math but its 4 month long and cost 192/Credit (almost $600) for 4 month.
Thanks

So grateful to this forum, I really couldn't have done it without the info here. I started the first week of May and finished up on October 28th. My degree was conferred on December 13th! Now I'm just waiting to get it in the mail
For anyone curious, here's a basic rundown: I started with about 15 creds (3 from taking a class at my local university during high school, then 12 from one semester at brick-and-mortar college). Between CLEPs (totally free), Sophia, and SDC, I knocked out 90 credits. I took 9 creds at TESU. I was only planning to take SOS-1100 and the Capstone, but I ended up taking a third bc I had very limited options for UL non-ACE/NCCRS English classes. BYU Independent Study does offer two UL English classes, so those made up my final 6 credits. FWIW, I highly recommend BYU IS. Each 3-credit class was about $750 so less than half of a TESU class, and you can work through it as quickly as you want. I took about 3 weeks per class and they were my two favorite classes I took the whole time.
If you add my semester of brick-and-mortar college it's about 9 months but that was so long ago that it feels totally separate from what I did this year. And still very short all in all! 9 mos vs. 4 years traditional, and all for under $10k... can't beat it. Thank you all again.

Looking for 2 RA Credits |

Hey guys,
I pretty much have almost everything figured and planned out at this point, (thanks!). I'm just looking for 2 more RA credits to finish out my 120. If I can't find I guess I'll just find an extra TECEP, (I'm assuming TESU accepts that as RA), to take and end up with 121. I'm already planning on taking the Medical Terminology course (1 credit) at TESU because I'm interested in it, and I needed another credit for my residency waiver anyways.
- Does the Intro to Library Research (1 credit) from Clackamas overlap with TESU's Information Literacy and won't give me credit? Even if I take it I'd still need 1 more credit.
- I tried the Jacksonville Financial Course (3 credits), but there's some admission requirements that seem onerous, and I'd have to wait until Spring 2025. Unless I'm missing something.
- I took the three "Cyber Security for …" TEEX courses back in 2018 and have 2 RA credits per (total of 6) I've seen some people on here mention that they didn't get RA for that so I figured I'd put this out there. I'm not sure if that was typical to receive in the past. Anyways, with more recent changes is there a way for me to get more credits out of TEEX? I've also looked for the "MGT343 - Disaster Management for Water & Wastewater Utilities" and didn't find an online section offered.
- I'm planning on taking TESU's General Chemistry I, should I take General Chemistry I w/ LAB for that extra credit
These are my credits so far for anyone interested.
Thanks for the advice.
