Hi, I'm new to this site. I am currently working in a profession where career growth requires any bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited school. I plan on pursuing a liberal arts degree or general studies. I will use 2 months utilizing sophia, study.com,or other ace credit resources before applying for a school. I want to attend a school that will accept the most credits, preferably in the 100 range, with minimal residency requirements. Which school fits this mold? Ill pass on wgu and umpi because their max is 90.

Hi everyone,
I’ve been reviewing TESU’s catalog and I’ve run into a point that feels a bit unclear regarding what actually counts as maintaining active enrollment. The wording seems to suggest that students must register for a course within a 12-month period to keep their enrollment status active — but it doesn’t explicitly say whether simply registering is enough, or if you also have to complete (or at least start) the course during that same timeframe.
For example:
- Let’s say I last completed a course in October 2024. If I go ahead and register for a course in September 2025, does that action alone keep my enrollment active?
- Or does TESU expect that the course start date (or completion date) has to fall within that 12-month window for it to count?
- And how do TECEP exams fit into this rule? If I register for a TECEP right at the edge of the 12 months, is that sufficient, or does it have to be taken and graded before the year is up?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through this recently or has had to clarify directly with advising. Policies like this can make a big difference in planning out degree timelines, especially if you’re trying to minimize fees while still staying officially enrolled.
Thanks in advance for any insights or personal experiences!

I recently found Academic Institute - a German education provider specializing on working people wanting to get a degree via distance learning.
For that they have partnered up with London Metropolitan University - which is also since it is H+ on anabin - so you shouldn't have any troubles with that degree.
They offer one- and two-year programms and also certificates.
Of interest might be the BSc in applied psychologie which is a top-up programm. You can transfer up to 120 ECTS (!) from a discontinued study programm or a previous degree. They don't seem to care what your credits are about, could be anything. This Bachelor takes one or two years and costs 10-11k Euro

The Masters they offer are a bit... different. Cyper-Psychology, Sales Psychology and so on.
Most of the programms are offered in German and English.
All programms take one or two years and cost 10-11k Euro - no matter if you take 1 or 2 years.
I admit: 1ok isn't really cheap, but since you can throw in a lot of credis makes it interesting to me.
What are your thoughts?

Hi Everyone! I was wondering if I could ask for help on a project I am working on? I am about to graduate from TESU this month. Along the way, I have been sharing my journey with friends who are also going back to school, and trying to encourage them to use strategies like ACE credits, DegreeForum, etc. This mostly gets me a lot of interest yet high amounts of confusion and lack of follow through when I try to explain the process to them. This has prompted me to consider creating a website with more information on degree planning, with a focus on helping people like my friends, who are interested in shortening their degree paths but hesitant and unfamiliar with many of the tips and tricks taught on this forum. To make sure I’m not inventing a problem that doesn’t actually exist, I created a survey to help research the actual need for my idea. I would be grateful for input from the forum, both from people who would like to take the survey and people who have suggestions on how to refine my survey questions or project. The survey is quick (7 short questions) and completely anonymous. Thanks so much for your help! https://buildpad.io/research/j4VoW3f
