On the CLEP Algebra exam, are there going to be questions like "The average discharge at the mouths of the Amazon River is 4,200,000 cubic feet per second. How much is discharged from the Amazon River in 1 yr? Express the answer in terms of scientific notation."
I can sort of do this with a calculator (the only calculator I have that can handle such large numbers expresses the answer in scientific notation by default, so it skips the last step, converting to scientific notation), but I find such word problems intimidating. Will I have to face such questions on the test? Thanks.

Hello,
I just received my score for the DSST Ethics in America Exam. The score was a 77. I found most of the test to be somewhat ambiguous so I'm glad I ended up passing. I only used this website to study - about 5 days.
Does anyone know the max possible score for Ethics in America? Is there a way to translate this score into a percentage grade?
Thanks in advance,
Mark

Hey guys. I'm relatively new to the clepping business. I'm taking college math tomorrow and i'm really nervous. I'm studying from the comex book. Is that enough? Any advice, tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx,
Ashe

I passed the Arkansas Real Estate licensing exam on Wednesday (the day before passing Tech Writing). My trip to Memphis was enjoyable and VERY productive! I look forward to starting my real estate career with a local brokerage and eagerly work toward the day I finish my degree in land surveying. Thank you all for all the encouragement and continued best wishes on the pursuit of your goals!!!
Next up, College Algebra and Chemistry ...

Do the Peterson Pratice tests hit spot on for the Clep test for College Algebra? I thought I had read a couple of posts stating they did not need their calculator when they went to take the exam. I know I also read not to make it bigger than it is HAHAHA!
Basically, I am trying to figure out if taking the Petersons pratice tests will give me a good idea when I am ready for the test. I just don't want to jump before I am ready. I have to have this test out of the way before 8/20. If (God forbid) I don't pass the test I need to enroll in a class and that is the start date for the classes at the community college.
