Question about Excelsior Upper Level Business credits |

Hey all you fellow exam takers,
I have a question for you... I have recently applied to Excelsior but I am waiting for them to process all my transcripts, so in the meantime, I need to have an idea regarding which tests I may need to take.
I have a 12 upper level credits from UOP such as Astronomy, Paradigms of Health, Human Motivation, and another I can't remember off hand. Even though these are upper level, they are not what I would call "Business" credits.
In your experience, would you say that these upper level courses count as upper level business credits at Excelsior? That would sure help if they did because I would CLEP the 3 lower level electives instead. I don't want these upper level courses to be counted as plain ole' electives.
How did Excelsior treat your upper level non-business related credits? ...If you've been in this situation.
Thanks in advance,

Calculator for CLEP college math? |

Hi:
Does anyone know what kind of a calculator you're allowed to use for the CLEP college math exam? I know you can use a non-programmable scientific type for the DANTES. Is it the same with CLEP, or do you just use a pocket calculator?
A response would be appreciated. I have to take this exam in a week, and I am very mathphobic. I've tested out of 100 plus credits so far, and have the CLEP math, DANTES Stats and TECEP research design left in order to complete my degree with Thomas Edison.
Any tips would be appreciated, I have saved the worst for last and am very nervous about these exams-passed the rest of the exams in 7 months but am procrastinating on these last two math related ones...
Thanks!

Well folks the time has finally arrived!! After more then 4 years and countless hours of studying and writing innumerable papers it boils down to a final Dantes test tommorow (Saturday April 21, 2007) to get 3 undergraduate credits so I can receive my Bachelor of Science in Business/Management degree.
It has not been a stroll in the park by any means, but hopefully all the stress and hard work will soon pay-off.
For me this was more of a personal achievement rather then a career altering decision, but I can only presume it will lead to opening or altering career changes down the road.
So the way it will hopefully play out is, I pass the test, get my results in a couple of weeks and after applying the credits, I receive my long awaited bachelorâs degree.
Well wish me luck! I NEED TO PASS!!!

Hey all!
I just looked at this site, http://www.college.studytactics.com . They have information about CLEPs, DANTES, AP exams, etc. Looks like a great resource. They don't have "free" exams from what I can see, but they list study books for the tests, redirect to test sites, etc. And they also have, under free materials, different subjects listed where they have compiled websites about that topic. You can also buy new and used books there, read sparknotes, dowload e-books, access to libraries, and lots more. Looks very useful! [/SIZE]

Can someone tell me what these count as at EC and TESC? Are the 2 exams in different categories or the same?
I am in process of getting all my transcipts together and evaluated. I was thinking of taking these while I wait because i am pretty good with computers, but also want to make sure I dont waste my time.
Thanks
