Describing Spanish Titulo Propio on CV

I have been wondering how to list a Spanish Titulo Propio on CV similar to this example...

Harvard  University
Accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education

Maybe like this...

Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona (ENEB)
Authorized under Spanish Royal Decree XX/XXXX

I want something accurate and truthful.

Anyone remember which Royal decree?

Sophia Introduction to Sociology: Embracing Diversity and Collaboration Transfered
Posted by: CreativeLearner - 09-13-2024, 05:14 PM - Forum: TESU - Thomas Edison State University Discussion - Replies (1)

I know there have been some questions regarding TESU accepting Sophia's Introduction to Sociology: Embracing Diversity and Collaboration for the Diversity Intercultural Literacy requirement. Some have said that it transferred in a way that did not fulfill the Diversity requirement and they had to appeal. I just transferred this Sophia class and found out today that it came in as SOC1100 but was automatically applied to the Diversity requirement and fulfilled it. I did not have to ask, they just did it. Just putting it out there in case it helps anyone.

Advice Needed: Texas A&M International Vs University of Southern Indiana (Online MBA)
Posted by: iamsam - 09-13-2024, 04:56 PM - Forum: Graduate School Discussion - Replies (11)

Hello everyone,

I'm Vishal from Texas, and I'm at a bit of a crossroads with my education. After taking a long break from academics, I jumped back into my bachelor's degree in 2023 and I'm excited to graduate this fall, in 2024. My next goal? Diving into an MBA program. But I need a bit of help choosing the right place.

Here’s what I’m hoping to find in an MBA program:

  • Basics About Me:
    • Where I'm From: Texas
    • Academic Journey: Dropped out in 2001, back at it since 2023, graduating soon (Fall 2024)!
  • My MBA Wishlist:
    1. Program Focus: General MBA
    2. School Location: Must be in the USA
    3. Accreditation: Needs AACSB accreditation
    4. Duration: Around 12 months would be perfect
    5. Learning Format: Fully online, flexible for any time zone (night or day)
    6. Budget: Hoping to keep it under $20,000
    7. Exam Proctoring: I’d rather not have someone watching over me during exams; compatibility with Respondus Browser is okay, since it’s already set up on my work computer.
  • Additional Considerations:
    • Work Life: My job requires a lot of travel, but I do have access to a US-based VPN.
    • Potential Choices: I’m eyeing Lamar University, LSU, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, and Texas A&M International University since they seem flexible with the proctoring requirements.
Seeking Your Advice:
  • Do the universities on my list make sense for my situation?
  • Does anyone have experience with these universities?
  • Any other university recommendations that might fit my unique needs?
I’d really appreciate any insights or experiences you could share. Thanks for helping me navigate this next big step!

Lightbulb Study.com 5 Exam Limit per Month Clarification
Posted by: Jaymes - 09-13-2024, 11:48 AM - Forum: Saylor.org, Straighterline, Study.com, OnlineDegree.com, Sophia.Org Discussion - Replies (5)

I did some lurking on posts from 2023 where some members reported that Study.com allows you to take 5 exams per billing cycle. However, after speaking with Study.com customer support, I was informed that you may only "take up 5 exams per month". However, they didn't emphasize if it is a calendar month, or a rolling monthly period based on when you took the first test of the five.

Does anyone have recent experience with this so I can get some clarity?

Is it:

5 exams per calendar month
5 exams per 30-day rolling period
5 exams per billing cycle

Degree plan wanted for UK student (CS)

Your Location: United Kingdom
Your Age:21
What kind of degree do you want?:Computer science degree
Current Regional Accredited Credits:None
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits:None
Any certifications or military experience?None
Budget: $5,000 - $8,000
Commitments: Full-time student
Dedicated time to study: 4-6/hrs a day
Timeline: 2 years or less
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: None

Hello all!

Recently stumbled across this forum whilst looking into online degrees and would love to get a good understanding of my options for an accelerated CS degree.

I'm currently enrolled in UoPeople, doing Computer Science but heavily dislike the discussion forum part of the courses. Looking for an alternative university that is quite flexible, isn't too expensive and doesn't rely as heavily on peer assessment as UoPeople does. I'm more inclined to go for a US university however I do have British and a European passport if that gives me any more options?

Also, would it be recommended to focus on accumulating credits on Sophia/Study.com and then apply to Universities or do these at the same time?

I apologize in advance if I haven't adhered to any of the protocols of this forum as I am completely new. Blush

Thanks a lot!

Online credit course at community college
Posted by: obonis - 09-13-2024, 07:22 AM - Forum: General "Big 3", B&M colleges, and other colleges - Replies (5)

I applied for admission in st Louise community college from Bangladesh. They sent me email with my stlcc id saying that "student id number (A number) is sent in a different email". but I didn't get any email. When I sent email to them they said I would get it in a separate email. Then I waited, checked spam and when I got no email, I again emailed them. They said I need to go to the campus in person.what to do?

  Feeling overwhelmed
Posted by: JerBear3000 - 09-12-2024, 03:17 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (2)

Hi there

Married, sole bread winner, 34, two kids in North Carolina. Have a good career currently but thinking of pursuing my dream of being a therapist/trauma specialist. I have no education at the moment. WGU has a bachelors of psychology now. It feels scary to consider making the leap, the investment, and doing something new. My kids are young so I want to enjoy the time with them as much as possible. Is it better to pursue knocking out the degree at an accelerated rate or taking one class at a time and going the long game? Could I take one class at a time that is condensed?
