I just failed but I wanna take another....

I passed the Management and Marketing CLEPs with InstantCert. I am grateful for that. I took the Business Law CLEP and failed badly....36.... Sad I don't know what happened but it was like I wasn't focused...The one thing I did differently from the other test was eat like 20 minutes before.... Maybe I shouldn't have eaten immediately before a test...Does anyone know?

Now I am thinking American Literature or British Literature CLEP...I have the option of taking the CLEP test or going to class every Saturday morning for the American Literature class....All I need is just a 50 for a "Passed" on my transcript...Any advice for me getting back on track?

  MBA in 1 Year
Posted by: Old Rusty Pipe - 08-31-2007, 01:58 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (6)

I just got registered to take my first two graduate levels classes with Saint Leo University. Saint Leo is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education. Their MBA program is entirely online, with both a General MBA and specialization options:
-Accounting
-Criminal Justice
-Human Resource Administration
-Health Care Administration
-Information Security Management
-Sport Business

The program is a total of 36 credit hours, regardless of specialization. Saint Leo is a bit pricey though: $550 a credit hour. They do however provide a 20% discount to military personnel, their spouses, and employees of the DoD.

The big advantage about this program is the ability to complete the MBA in exactly 1 year.

I'm just taking my 6 credits to transfer them to my own graduate program (I don't want an MBA), but if you are in the market for one you can check out the program at:

Inner - Online MBA                                                                                   online degree, mba, online mba, distance learning mba, online mba programs, online mba degrees, mba degree online, mba online

  Excelsior study plan
Posted by: Ronin - 08-30-2007, 02:30 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (5)

I was randomly searching through here a couple of days ago for some info, and saw that some people had a .pdf print out of what they had left to do with Excelsior and what degree requirement it filled.

Does Excelsior still do that, and if so, how do I go about getting one?

Hello everyone.

I have an announcement to make... ahem, ahem...

Today I took my final CLEP exam (Intro to Ed. Psychology (66)), and I can finally say that I have completed ALL degree requirements for a B.S. in General Business from Excelsior College. I am DONE!!!

I will end up with a 3.86 GPA. (Magna Cum Laude)

To tell the truth, I owe so much to this forum and the friends I have met here -- people who have already been through the journey. People who have marked the trail for others to follow. I sincerely appreciate it.

Thank you.

As they say, "It's been REAL!!"Big Grin

I'm so happy, I don't know what to do with myself!!!!!!hilarious

Call me stupid, call me ignorant. I don't care what you call me as long as someone can tell me how to take these FREE Peterson's tests. I've tried to use them but they always ask for money? Where do I look? Please use hyperlinks.

  Alzheimer's disease caregivers

Hey everyone,

I just wondered if anyone here has had firsthand experience as a caregiver for someone with Alzheimer's disease...especially towards the later stages. If so, could you please send me a PM? Thanks.

JoAnne
